Pantheon is ERP (enterprise resource planning) software product developed by Datalab Slovenija. It is a complex software solution for variety of company sizes: small (they can use LX/LT Pantheon license models or new Pantheon Web), mid size (combination or RE, RT, SE) to large companies that have complex work and document flow (ME, MF and all smaller license models). Company can have 1 employee or many of them. Company can have one location or may of them. Pantheon is scalable solution, that can accommodate many diverse needs of modern companies.

Creators of Pantheon ERP used Greek mythology to name software’s modules: so HERMES is material movements (stock, invoicing) , HERA is HRM (salary, travel), DEMETER is finance (accounting) etc. It also contains FastReport editor as quick but powerful integrated tool for design of your reports, module ZEUS as Business intelligence (BI) and module ARES for integrated development.

Now, lets focus more on ARES module in Pantheon. By definition, ARES is IDE (Integrated development environment) which allows you to supplement, modify and expand “out of the box” Pantheon functionalities. Why is this important: We’ve established in opening text that Pantheon is complex and can offer many options for you and your company to run your business, but there are things (processes, functions, needs) that are specific to your way of doing things in your company. ARES is tool that you need to accomplish that: expand on Pantheon foundation and add your custom procedures, forms, reports, SQL queries etc. to further expand your ERP work and customize Pantheon to your needs.

Based on PAX Delphi Compiler, ARES IDE is only tool you will ever need: it is fully integrated into Pantheon ERP meaning no outside tool or program is needed, and has many controls to accomplish any tasks. With ARES you can build simple add-on solutions like add a button on invoice form that will do some function, or complex solution that can contain multiple forms, reports, SQL queries, program units, import/export in variety of file extension and types etc., or you can even change the default Pantheon feature and swap it with your own.  ARES is fully automatically integrated into Pantheon: Integration is done by Pantheon engine – on creation of Pantheon forms the engine checks if any ARES procedures are integrated on that particular form; and if so – it loads it. Integration and execution of your custom code can be done in few ways: on start (load) of the form, on Pantheon wizard menu or on form itself as button or any other control.
